Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented In-House Cleaner to join our property management team. As an In-House Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of our managed properties. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness will contribute to a positive experience for our tenants and guests. We are a fully licensed, bonded, and insured company. CCB #184760.Responsibilities:* Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform thorough cleaning tasks, including but not limited to deep cleaning stoves, toilets, cooktops, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in all areas of the managed properties such as common areas, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other designated spaces.* Waste Management: Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables from designated areas in accordance with company policies and local regulations. Maintain clean and odor-free trash receptacles.* Supply Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary materials. Inform the supervisor in a timely manner when supplies need to be replenished.* Reporting and Documentation: Document any damages, repairs, or maintenance issues discovered during cleaning duties and promptly report them to the supervisor. Keep accurate records of cleaning activities and maintain a checklist of completed tasks.* Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the properties to identify any cleanliness or maintenance issues and promptly address them. Notify the supervisor of any recurring issues or areas requiring special attention.* Safety and Compliance: Adhere to established safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all occupants. Follow proper handling and disposal procedures for cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials.* Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with the property management team, promptly addressing any concerns or questions related to cleaning responsibilities.* Professionalism: Exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with tenants, guests, and fellow employees. Maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear appropriate attire provided by the company.Requirements:* Driver's License and Vehicle: A valid driver's license is required for this position, along with access to a reliable vehicle. You will be responsible for traveling between different managed properties to perform cleaning duties. Mileage reimbursement will be provided for work-related travel.* Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record is necessary, with no major violations or accidents within the past three years.* Please ensure that you possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle before applying for this position.* Experience: Prior experience in a similar cleaning role, preferably within a property management or hospitality environment, is preferred but not mandatory.* Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to cleaning tasks to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.* Time Management: Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes while maintaining quality standards.* Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects. Must be able to work comfortably in various environments and weather conditions.* Dependability: Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Able to work independently and follow instructions accurately.* Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, tenants, and guests.* Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the property management company.Note: This job description is intended to outline the general responsibilities and qualifications of the position.
