*Position Summary:*The Service Station Supervisor is highly organized and customer focused. This role provides oversight of the daily operations of our fuel station. The manager is responsible for ensuring efficient service, managing staff, maintaining fuel inventory, and delivering excellent customer service. This role also involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing financial performance, and driving profitability for the station.*Essential Functions:** Oversee the daily operations of the full-service fuel station, ensuring efficient and effective service* Manage, train, and supervise fuel station attendants and staff to ensure high-quality customer service and operational efficiency* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including fuel handling, hazardous materials, and fire safety standards* Maintain accurate inventory levels of fuel* Monitor fuel pricing and adjust as necessary in coordination with company policies and market conditions* Handle all customer service issues, including resolving complaints, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station, including the fuel pumps, and outdoor spaces* Monitor and maintain station equipment, scheduling repairs or maintenance as needed to ensure smooth operations* Perform financial management duties, including cash handling, and daily sales reconciliation* Work with senior management to develop and implement strategies to improve station performance and profitability* Recruit, hire, and onboard new staff members, ensuring they are trained on safety protocols, customer service, and station operations* Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and health and safety regulations* Monitor fuel station security measures, including camera systems and safety procedures, to prevent theft and ensure a safe environment for employees and customers*Non-essential Functions:** Other duties as assigned.*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s) for Position:*An employee in this class must have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities upon application:*Knowledge** Knowledge of fuel station operations, including fuel handling, inventory management, and cash handling procedures* Knowledge of fuel pricing, inventory control, and vendor management* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail* Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment* Basic math skills for handling payments and transactions*Skills** Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising staff* Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills* Excellent customer service and communication skills*Abilities** Practice and foster safe work methods, identify workplace hazards, and use appropriate safety equipment* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, professional colleagues, clients, customers, and the public* Find solutions to problems* Reliable, punctual and able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and/or weekends* Respond to emergency situations* Identify processes and streamline inefficiencies*Physical Demands** Ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions* Manual dexterity to operate fueling equipment* Exposure to noise, fumes, odors, dust, and vehicles* Exposure to extreme weather conditions, such as heat, cold, rain, snow, and ice* May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves or safety glassesJob Type: Full-timePay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hourWork Location: In person
