Team Member/Barista

Looking for staff to join our team at our Playland location in Pineville, NC!Playland is a fun, safe and clean indoor playground and cafe that both children and adults enjoy. We host birthday parties and have a full on-site cafe that offers food and drink choices for all of our guests. We are looking looking for FUN, POSITIVE, ENERGETIC, and RESPONSIBLE people to join our team!Weekend availability is required.Responsibilities:* Greet and check in customers, handle cash register operations* Interact customers in a positive, encouraging manner* Supervise play areas* Provide excellent customer service* Maintain a clean work/play environment. SAFETY and CLEANLINESS are a priority* Basic food and beverage services* Train to be a barista* Explain Playland facility rules* Answer phone calls, great communication skills are required* Handle and enforce waiver policies and rules* Assist with birthday parties services* Other duties as assignedQualifications:* 1 year of customer service experience* Must be at least 17 years old* Must be available to work most weekends* Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment* Ability to multitask and stay organized* Ability to interact with children and adults, work cooperatively with others, and handle stressful situations* Physical requirements involve a combination of walking and standing. Includes climbing, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching and walking on uneven surfaces* Must be able to pass a background check to work with children* Most of all, you must LOVE kids!Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, and weekends only availablePay depends on experience.
