Wide Format Print Operator

Crown Connect is hiring a Wide Format Print Operator. This person will be responsible for all aspects of digital color, and wide format print production with finishing experience on the large format side. In addition to hands-on duties, you will be responsible for operating wide format printers, a cut router, and other assorted equipment. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and who is determined to make every project his or her absolute best.The ideal candidate possesses hands-on experience with the following:* HP Wide Format printing equipment including R2000, L1500, L365* HP Latex 64” Printer* Kongsberg and/or Summa Flatbed Cutters* Rigid Substrates* Roll Substrates*Responsibilities** Follow work order instructions to produce signs and graphics.* Prepares substrates for production, which may include, measuring, cutting, cleaning.* Operation of equipment, wide format printer, laminator, router, and various other finishing equipment* Performs quality assurance measures pre- and post-production* Works on different projects simultaneously* Performs routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary* Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes*Requirements** Strong math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail* 3+ years of experience in the wide format printing industry, with a strong technical background in wide format printing equipment, materials, and techniques* Proficiency with wide format printing software and tools, as well as familiarity with various printing technologies* Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously* Is conscientious and will call out any potential problems.* Can work with a great team to communicate clearly and professionally.* Able to stand for long periods of time* Able to lift 50 or more pounds* Can stay organized and pleasant in a rapid paced environment.Crown Connect is an established commercial printing company located in San Bernardino, CA.
