Tartine Bakery is hiring a full-time Pastry Baker to join our LA Commissary Production Team in the heart of the West Adams arts district. We're a renowned artisan bakery known for our commitment to quality, craft, and hospitality—and we’re looking for passionate bakers who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.*About the Role*You’ll be part of a skilled team producing some of Tartine’s most beloved pastries. From flaky croissants to seasonal tarts, your work will help deliver our signature quality to locations across Los Angeles. This role is hands-on, production-focused, and ideal for someone who loves the rhythm and satisfaction of a busy bakery kitchen.*Key Responsibilities** Assemble, mix, and bake items such as croissants, scones, muffins, and tarts* Light prep, including mixing cookie doughs, glazes, and granola* Maintain consistency and high standards in product quality* Package baked goods with attention to presentation and freshness* Keep a clean and organized kitchen space* Collaborate with the team on improving production and workflow*What We’re Looking For** 1–2 years of experience in a production bakery, pastry shop, or similar setting* Strong attention to detail and a love for craft* Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment* Familiarity with professional baking tools and equipment* A positive attitude and team-first mindset* Reliable, punctual, and committed to food safety and cleanliness* *Must be available to start work at 5:00 am and work weekends (Friday–Sunday required*)*Why Tartine*We’re a team rooted in tradition and driven by innovation.
