Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and engaged.We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon high tea, Sunday brunch, catering and events. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and have a flair for creating delicious dishes, we want you on our team.Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and quality standards- Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes- Ensure food is prepared promptly and according to order specifications- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations- Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory needs to the Chef- Adhere to proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines- Assist in catering events and special functions as neededExperience:- Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting is preferred- Knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment- Familiarity with fine dining standards and practices- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment- Strong attention to detail and passion for creating high-quality dishes- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plusJob Type: Part-timePay: $15.50 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:* Flexible scheduleShift:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Evening shiftWork Location: In person
