Bench Jeweler

Perry’s Diamonds & Estate Jewelry is a well-established, family-owned business with over 45 years of history serving the Charlotte community and beyond. We specialize in fine estate and antique jewelry, diamonds, and custom design. We are currently seeking a *skilled and detail-oriented Bench Jeweler* to join our talented team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate jeweler who thrives in a collaborative environment. *Must be available Saturdays.**Key Responsibilities:** Perform a full range of bench work, including:* Ring sizing* Prong re-tipping and re-building* Chain and clasp repairs* Stone setting and stone replacement* Soldering (simple to complex)* Polishing and finishing* Assess and diagnose repair needs for both customer-owned and store-owned jewelry* Collaborate with sales team to provide accurate timelines and expectations for repairs* Communicate with clients as needed to discuss repair options or custom modifications* Maintain a clean and organized workspace* Contribute to the overall efficiency and professionalism of the repair department*Qualifications:** *Minimum 5 years of professional bench jeweler experience REQUIRED** Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Experience with antique or vintage jewelry is a plus, but not required* Comfort working in a client-facing environment is a strong advantageJoin our team and be a part of a company that values integrity, quality, and community.
