Line Cook

If you're an experienced Line Cook, or have some kitchen experience and are willing to train, we would like you to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet exact specifications.You will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth.Responsibilities:*Responsibilities:** Ensure the proper set up and stock of prep station and kitchen.* Memorize recipes and be able to prepare each dish on the menu.* Able to understand and follow instructions.* Ensure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.* Daily cleaning of kitchen and prep areas.* Stock inventory and supplies.* Able to lift up to 30 lbs.* Attention To Detail* Knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods or willingness to learn the process and best practices.* Excellent communication and organizational skills.* Aptitude for multi-tasking.* Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team environmentJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 – 40 per weekAbility to commute/relocate:* Athens, GA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
