Guardian Security was founded in 1976, and we have been serving the people of the Pacific Northwest with their security and fire protection needs since then - for almost 50 years! We are locally owned and operated, with four offices located in Yakima, Tacoma, Bellingham, and in the SODO district of Seattle.Position Summary:The Service Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling technicians, sub-contractors, rental equipment, and managing costs in support of system install operations.Pay:$20.00 DOEWork Setting:M-F, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm at our Bellingham location (1501 Kentucky St, Bellingham, WA 98229).Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Administrative Duties -Answering phonesVerifiyting, ordering and staging as neededChecks Technician vans inventorySchedules Technicians with complete scope of what is required to complete the service callCoorindate with property mamagers and/or sub-contractods as neededEnsures notification and resolutoin of customers on field work orders (FWO's)Bills out service calls dailyField Duties -Reviews parts for service callsRuns parts to the Technicians occasioanllyTests systems with customers over the phoneResolve service-related issues that don't require a techncian to go out to the site Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.Education and/or Experience:High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.One to three years of customer service-related and/or scheduling experience.Familiarity with security systems (preferred).Multi-line phone experience.Key Competencies:• Ability to solve problems, self-start and work with little supervision.• Professional demeanor and attitude.• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and emails.• Ability to effectively interact with customers, potential customers, and branch personnel.• Ability to adapt to changes in work environment, delays or unexpected events; change approach or method to best fit the situation.• Excellent customer service and interpersonal/listening skills.• Must possess good decision-making skills, be organized and detail oriented.Benefits:Health, Vision, and Life Insurance premiums paid for by GuardianLow-cost Dental Insurance401(k)AD&D insuranceEmployee assistance program (EAP) available day 1Flexible spending account (FSA)Paid time off that builds with tenure (Year 1 - 88 hours)Additional 8 paid holidaysTuition reimbursement/professional development PTOGuardian Security System is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we are committed to providing a diverse, inclusive, engaging, and flexible environment for our employees - because great things happen when people feel safe bringing their authentic selves to work.
