Lead Assembler

Pedigo Products, a world class manufacturer of high quality healthcare equipment, is seeking a Lead Assembler for a new product line of warming devices being manufactured at our facility in Vancouver, WA. Reporting to the Blanket Warmer Assembly Supervisor, the Lead Assembler will perform key assembly and testing processes, while leading a small group of assemblers to meet daily quality and production goals. This will be a quality focused role ensuring all specifications are met and rigorous testing is performed and documented.*Duties and Responsibilities:** Communicates and executes daily assembly plans with small team of assemblers* Monitors workmanship and productivity of team and reports results/observations to Assembly Supervisor* Trains new assemblers in proper techniques and develops skills of team members* Performs in process and final testing, records results, and generates periodic reports* Makes production and quality verification entries in ERP System* Troubleshoots, replaces and/or scraps non-conforming components* Recommends improvements for assembly and inspection processes* Performs repairs and re-inspection of returned product* Maintains an effective, organized, and safe work area*Job Resources:** New Test/Cycle Room and newly repurposed assembly area* Recently implemented robust/capable ERP System* Established Quality System* Knowledgeable, capable support team*Skills and Qualifications:** High School Diploma, Electrical education/training* 3+ years demonstrated success in leading a team of electro-mechanical assemblers* Expert knowledge in simple to mid-level electrical systems* Experience in product testing and quality control (Powered Equipment/Devices)* Exceptional communication/leadership/coaching skills (English as Primary written and spoken language)* Knowledge and demonstrated use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instrunments* Mid-level Skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)*Benefits:** Excellent working conditions in an exceptionally clean and modern facility* Compensation: $25 - $35/hr depending qualifications and experience* Paid Holidays and PTO* 401(k) retirement plan with a high employer percentage match* Medical and Dental Insurance, Health Savings Account with employer contribution* Flexible Spending Account (pre-tax savings for medical and childcare)* On-site fitness facility* Educational Assistance Programs for employees and dependent childrenApply by sending a resume to *About Us:*Pedigo Products, Inc. has been an industry leader in the manufacturing of stainless steel medical devices for the healthcare market for over 70 years.
