Greenskeeper

This position is responsible for maintaining the look and upkeep of our two 18- hole championship golf courses, and one 9-hole championship course. We’ll need your help in maintaining the bunkers, tees, fairways, divots, ball markers and other general golf course maintenance activities. You will work closely with the Superintendent and the Grounds’ leadership team to receive your daily work assignments. This position works one weekend a month (four-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday).· Operate handheld equipment and hand tools to assist with edging, trimming, and mowing· Raking and maintaining sand bunkers· Repairing Divots· Operating a Rotary Mow and Fly Mow (training will be provided)· Using a Backpack Blower (training will be provided)· Sweeping areas with a broom· Assist with projects as required* Golf Course experience preferred but not required* Mechanical aptitude is highly preferred* Ability to safely operate trucks and other light motorized equipment* Knowledge of maintenance tools highly preferred* Working knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools, and other equipment* Ability to complete tasks in a safe and courteous manner* Ability to comprehend and learn tasks associated with golf course maintenance· Work scheduled shifts as assigned, and arrive 10 minutes prior to start time· Complete tasks as assigned by the Superintendent and Grounds’ leaders· Maintain a positive and professional demeanor and work well with teammates· Learn new tasks to develop your skills for promotional opportunities· Must be able to lift up-to 50lbs· Active Driver’s License preferred· Uniform is providedJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Parental leave* Professional development assistance* Referral program* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to Friday* Morning shift* Weekends as neededWork Location: In person
