ABICOR Binzel USA, Inc., a premier technology-driven manufacturer of welding equipment and products based in Frederick, MD, has an immediate full-time opening for a Machinist. Looking for a detail-oriented Machinist with *at least 4 years* *of experience* who enjoys complex tasks and solving problems in a high-mix, low-volume environment.At ABICOR Binzel, we provide a complete product line of air and water-cooled MIG, TIG, and Robotic welding torches suitable for any welding application. Our products are ISO-9000 certified to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability. We also provide numerous welding accessories and innovations including seam tracking, fume extraction, and laser guiding that protect and improve your welding needs.*Desired Skills:** Experience with CNC turning center.* Knowledge of manual machines, Swiss turn, CNC controllers, and software including G-Code, Mazatrol, a plus.* Experience working with Mazak Quickturn 250MSY, Ganesh Cyclone 32CS, extremely helpful.* Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.* Use precision measuring instruments such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM), bore gauges, and hand tools to ensure the accuracy of machined parts.* Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure proper functioning.* Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.* Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.* Assemble finished parts into complete products as required.* Proven experience as a Machinist.* Proficient in operating CNC machines.* Strong knowledge of tooling and machining techniques.* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications.* Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.* Good problem-solving skills and knowledge to troubleshoot machine issues.Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $33.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:* Overtime payAbility to Commute:* Frederick, MD 21703 (Required)Work Location: In person
