This role is based in our Woodinville taproom, at the site where the company was founded in 2015. There is also the possibility of supplementing hours working occasional promotional events.*Responsibilities** Follow the instructions and guidance of the Taproom Lead* Handle opening and closing procedures of the taproom* Serve customers responsibly and with a positive attitude, representing Locust Cider in a very professional manner* Help grow our cider club membership base by informing customers about our membership program* Assist the Taproom Lead in keeping the taproom clean and organized and adequately stocked before and after every shift* Act as a brand champion for Locust Cider* Treat our customers and co-workers with love every day*Candidate Must** Be able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day* Lift and move up to 50 pounds* Be able to slide full 80 pound kegs across a smooth floor* Be flexible- Every day brings a new surprise, be ready to think on your feet and adapt* Be reliable- You will often be the only support for the Taproom Lead* Be humble- This is a fun job, but it is also hard work and takes a good amount of patience and schlepping* Have great verbal communications skills and escalate problems/questions to manager appropriately* Have a permit to serve alcohol as required by the local and state jurisdictions* Have Food Handler Permit as required by the local and state jurisdictions* Be responsible around alcohol and those who drink it- have a “designated driver” attitude* Handle ambiguity and the general madness of a small and fast-growing company* Knowledge of or excitement about cider and beer in generalRole is paid hourly plus tips.
