Job Description

*Duties and Responsibility:*Supervises all housekeeping employees, hires new employees as needed and takes disciplinary actions when policies are not followed. Evaluates employees in order to promote them when openings arise with our company.Plans the work for the housekeeping department and distributes assignments accordingly. Assigns regular duties and special duties for the housekeeping staff to completely on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.Recruit and train new employees. Assigns new employees to work with experienced team members. Makes sure new hire is able to complete daily, weekly, monthly workload on their own.Compiles inventory lists. Maintains guests lost-and-found items. Works side by side with the maintenance department to make sure all guest rooms and common area's are clean and incident free.*Responsibility & Authority:** Responsible for cleanliness and appearance of the entire property.* Ensure that rooms are compliant with Brand Standards.* Maintain par's of stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies and linen/terry* Help and train laundry attendants.* Help and train houseperson(s)* Pay particular attention while organizing pest eradication activities.* Develop and implement Housekeeping systems and procedures* Prepare reports for management information.* Assist GM in selecting suppliers for items related to Housekeeping.* Attending and resolving guest complaints.* Verification of supplies consignments.* Organize on-the job training and evaluate its effectiveness.* Assist in the hiring process.*Other Routine Responsibilities:** Daily inspection of public areas, kitchen, pool and fitness room* Coordinating the preventive maintenance schedule of rooms and a public area with the maintenance department.* Immediately attending to guest requests.*Summary*As a Hotel Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
