Job Description

We are an AS9100 Machine and Fabrication shop always working on something new. You’ll never get bored. We do aerospace tooling, rocket launch tooling, production, testing, prototype, and everything in-between if there is anything else…We are looking for a programming machinist utilizing the latest Mastercam version. You must have 15 years in the industry with at least 10 as a setup machinists and 5 programming. We have HAAS, Siemens and Fanuc controls. We are looking for operators and setup machinists as well so if you and your friend want to leave the shop your at and come as a package deal, we will strongly consider it.ShiftsM-Th 2:00 pm to 12:30 pmResponsibilities:-Review planning/engineering, work instructions and tooling to verify appropriate work process and quality requirements before starting job.-Perform accurate and timely completion of all job order documentation and associated paperwork, part counts, tie-in information, etc.-Prove and edit CNC programs at the machine, or via CAM programming.-Work with day shift leads and programmers to ensure high level output from shop in swing shift.-Ability to operate machines with minimal direction.-Run multiple CNC mill and/or lathe machines-Work complex setups on 3, 4, 5 axis mills or multi-axis lathes-Work well with team members-Experience in use of precision hand tools.-Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.-Perform other tasks as directed by Supervision/ManagementQualifications:-A minimum of 10 years of experience as a CNC machinist-Minimum of 5 years programming CNC machines using MasterCAM, Fusion 360 or similar-Knowledge of CNC equipment capability and daily maintenance.-Print reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.-Excellent communication skills.-Ability to read and interpret documents-Able to perform mid-level math skills efficiently and accurately-Knowledge of inspection equipment such as; calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges-Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.-Must be able to work 1st shift or 2nd shift, as well as weekends and overtime, when necessary.Desired:-Siemens, Fanuc and Haas controls-A minimum of 5 years of experience setting up 5-Axis Machines-Machining of nickel-based stainless steel alloys, copper, titanium preferred.-Excellent work ethic.-Excellent attention to detail.-Eager to learn.-Ability to adapt to change (positive or negative).-Ability to accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively with stressful situations-Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts-Experience machining aerospace componentsJob Type: Full-timePay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) 4% Match* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Profit sharing* Referral program* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 10 hour shift* 4x10* Evening shift* Night shift* OvertimeSupplemental Pay:* Bonus opportunities* Overtime pay* Yearly bonusAbility to Relocate:* Sumner, WA 98390: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
