*Human Resources Specialist**Who is Team Lyders?*Team Lyders is one of the largest franchisees in the Yum! Brands family, with 235 Taco Bell stores located throughout Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. Our corporate office supports our Taco Bell stores, along with other businesses run by the Lyders Group.*About the Job:*As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a critical role in assisting with improving and maintaining HR policies, processes and practices along with recommending changes to HR management. To ensure efficient operations this position will include a substantial amount of research, data input and analysis, and reporting as it relates to employee productivity and positive employee relations.In this role you will work directly with our hiring leaders and our Human Resources team to assist with the various needs of our employees and all aspects managed by our Human Resources Department.*The Day-to-Day: *· Performs screening and assists in the reapplication of rehire candidates.· Responsible for assisting RGMs and ASLs in maintaining workplace compliance.· Promotes and tracks the WOTC program for new hires.· Assists in compiling data and producing reports necessary to track workplace initiatives.· Maintains tracking of all incoming Employee Referral Bonuses and reports qualified payouts to the payroll department.· Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.· Gathers information and responds to requests for unemployment processes.· Manages Workers Compensation claims.· Assisting in the coordination and scheduling of meetings as requested by the director of HR.· Performs clerical tasks such as copying, scanning, emailing, filing and prepares correspondence as requested.· Prepares and maintains files for compliance purposes.· Stays current on the company’s internal policies along with State and Federal laws regarding employment practices.· Participates in creating and/or modifying company guidelines and policies in conjunction with the HR Team and company leadership.· Acting as a liaison to keep management abreast of progress and/or anticipated or pending issues.· Special projects and tasks as required*Is This You?*· Local travel may be required; must maintain a valid driver’s license· Normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office and ability to conduct a normal amount of work utilizing a computer.*Skills and Qualifications*· Preferred experience working with HRIS systems· Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Self-starter capable of managing assigned tasks· Ability to prioritize projects· Strong problem-solving skills· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing goals as neededTeam Lyders is an equal opportunity employer and as such does not discriminate in employment, opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, weight, height, disability, familial, mental or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
