Production Technician

Controltech Corporation has an opportunity for a Production Technician to join our company. Controltech offers several benefits including on the job training, paid holidays and vacation, medical insurance, and company provided meals three times per week.In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks needed to support warehouse operations. You will be responsible for assembling product parts as well as finished products.Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Soldering printed circuit boards* Receiving and processing warehouse stock products* Operating a forklift* Performing inventory controls and maintaining high quality standards* Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pick up as needed (load, pack, wrap, label, pick, store, and log)* Potential for field service calls* Various other duties as assigned by supervisorJob QualificationsRequired:* High School diploma or equivalent* Ability to lift or move up to 60 lbs, and complete work that involves repetitive motion or lifting* Willing and able to work in a variety of areas (warehouse, field sites)* Teamwork skills* Good verbal and interpersonal communication* Positive, outgoing attitudePreferred:* 1-2 years previous warehouse or shop experience* Mechanical and electrical knowledge* College degree is preferred but not requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:* Health insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* 8 hour shiftExperience:* assembly: 1 year (Required)Work Location: In person
