Explore our open positions and join a company that’s shaping the future—one breakthrough at a time!*_*POSITION: Gasket Room Supervisor**# OF VACANCIES: 3**SHIFTS: First, Second or Third (Standard) and Weekend Warrior Opportunities**POSITION SUMMARY:*The Gasket Room Supervisor oversees the preventive maintenance of a diverse range of equipment, ensuring efficient production and all tasks are performed to the highest standards. This role requires advanced mechanical skills, a deep understanding of diagnostic tools, and strong leadership abilities. As a leader, the Supervisor sets the standard for professionalism and work ethic, inspiring the team to achieve operational excellence. The Supervisor is responsible for managing daily operations, providing clear direction, and fostering the development of less experienced technicians through guidance and mentorship, ensuring a cohesive and productive team. The Supervisor is responsible to ensure production numbers are accurate and updated throughout the shift.*Key Responsibilities:*_Responsibilities include but are not limited to:_· Manage Job Board ensuring data is accurate and relevant.· Provide reports and accountability to Production Manager for discrepancies.· Timely reporting of any issues and challenges that will impact production output.· Ability to articulate potential solutions as required.· Ensure all repairs are performed to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.· Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrications, and adjustments.· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment conditions.· Proficient in administration of 5S· Stay updated on the latest technological advancements and repair techniques.· Provide technical support and guidance to Gasket Room Technicians I and II.· Complete detailed service reports and work orders for each job.· Communicate effectively with the Production Manager regarding job progress and any issues encountered.· Ensure that all documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.· Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.· Ensure a clean and safe work environment.· Participate in safety training and drills as required.· Assist in training and mentoring less experienced technicians.· Share knowledge and best practices with team members to improve overall shop performance.· Provide leadership by coaching team members to maximum efficiency· Act liaison with managers in absence of Production Manager· OSHA 30 training· Obtain CPR and First Aid certification*Qualifications:*_*Required*_· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in mechanical, automotive, or related field preferred.· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a service technician, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.· Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair software.· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.*Physical Requirements:*· Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly.· Manual dexterity and ability to handle tools and machinery controls.· Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and stooping may be required.· Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions typical of a manufacturing environment.*Work Environment:*· Primarily indoor shop environment with occasional outdoor work.· Exposure to loud noises, fumes, and machinery.*Cross-Training and Support:*While your primary focus will be on diagnosing, repairing, and doing preventative maintenance on equipment, we believe in the value of a versatile and well-rounded team.
