Together, we’re shaping the future of masa and corn flour production.*HR Coordinator Job Description:**Primary Role: *The HR Coordinator serves as critical support to the HR Manager, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily HR functions. This position is responsible for accurate HRIS data entry, onboarding, compliance tracking, and assisting with payroll and recruiting processes. The HR Coordinator must be organized, proactive, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion. Strong ADP and administrative experience are essential for success in this role.*Key Responsibilities:**HRIS Management & Compliance:** Accurately enter and update employee information in ADP Workforce Now and maintain data integrity.* Conduct monthly audits of employee records and HRIS to ensure compliance and accuracy.* Support the HR Manager with I-9 verifications, EEO-1 reporting, and other compliance documentation.*Onboarding & Orientation:** Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, including scheduling drug tests, physicals, and collecting required documentation.* Independently lead new hire orientation sessions within 60 days of hire into this role.* Prepare onboarding packets and ensure a seamless handoff to Safety and Production teams.*Payroll & Timekeeping:** Collect, verify, and enter timecard data into the payroll system (ADP).* Respond to payroll inquiries and troubleshoot discrepancies.* Independently process payroll by day 90 under the direction of the HR Manager.*Recruitment Support:** Post job openings, screen applicants, schedule interviews, and initiate background checks.* Communicate with candidates and supervisors throughout the hiring process.*Training & Policy Communication:** Track training completions and assist in maintaining training documentation.* Support delivery of basic HR policy overviews (harassment prevention, attendance policy, etc.).* Assist in the rollout of HR initiatives and system improvements.*Administrative & Departmental Support:** Provide backup support for phones, document filing, supplies, and general office needs.* Process HR-related invoices and purchase orders.* Maintain accurate employee contact information and internal documents.* Serve as a reliable extension of the HR Manager in handling day-to-day responsibilities and special projects.*Performance Expectations:** Independently lead orientation by day 60.* Accurately process payroll by day 90.* Conduct monthly audits of HRIS and personnel files.* Demonstrate reliability, ownership, and discretion in all assigned tasks.*Qualifications:** Associate’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.* 1–2 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment preferred.* Must have hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now.* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.* Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.* Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work independently while supporting broader HR department goals.Job Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Referral program* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceEducation:* Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:* Human resources: 2 years (Preferred)Location:* Greenville, IL 62246 (Required)Work Location: In person
