Coating Operator

We are hiring for a global leader in the manufacturing of vitamins, minerals, and nutritional supplements. We’re hiring a reliable and detail-oriented *Coating Operator* for our 3rd shift production team. This is a hands-on manufacturing role where you’ll operate tablet coating equipment and prepare coating solutions to precise specifications. If you have a background in manufacturing and want to grow in the pharmaceutical or supplement industry, we’d love to hear from you.Responsibilities:* Set up and operate coating equipment according to batch record parameters* Prepare and mix Shellac or other coating solutions as directed* Feed equipment with the appropriate amount of product per batch instructions* Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper coating* Complete and maintain Shellac reports and batch documentation accurately* Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all sanitation and safety guidelines* Follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations* Work with supervisors to prioritize batch schedules and ensure timely completionRequired Qualifications:* High school diploma or GED* Available to work 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 5:45 AM)* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull heavy materials (up to 110 kg)* Comfortable working in a powdered production environment (must not have respiratory conditions such as asthma)* Able to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods* Basic math skills and ability to follow written instructions* Reliable transportation* Authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred Qualifications:* Experience operating coating equipment, especially Vector coating machines* Prior work in supplement, pharmaceutical, or food-grade manufacturing environments* Familiarity with GMP and SOP standards* Bilingual (English/Spanish)* Attention to detail and consistency in following quality procedures* Experience preparing coating or Shellac solutionsJob Type: Temp-to-hirePay: $16.20 - $19.20 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekSchedule:* Night shiftEducation:* High school or equivalent (Required)Language:* English (Required)* Spanish (Required)Work Location: In person
