*Breakfast Bar Attendant Job Description**Overview*Responsible for achieving and maintaining customer service and product quality standards for the delivery of complimentary breakfast. Duties include:* Cleaning and preparing the breakfast area* Arranging furniture* Emptying trash receptacles* Making fresh coffee* Stocking drinks, food items, and supplies (e.g., plastic ware, napkins) according to operating standards*Physical Requirements** Available to work 5:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, including weekends and holidays* Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting* Standing and walking over 90% of the time* Lifting up to 25 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50 lbs* Occasional crawling and stair climbing*Major Duties*During breakfast hours:* Set up and break down continental breakfast items* Greet and acknowledge guests* Bus and clean tables* Straighten chairs and arrange furniture* Maintain cleanliness of breakfast area* Restock food, drinks, and supplies* Make fresh coffee* Empty trash receptacles* Thank guests upon departureAfter breakfast hours:* Clean and mop area* Store or dispose of items per health codes* Clean and store equipment* Receive supplies, rotate stock, complete inventory* Follow health department codes and hotel procedures* Assist with cleaning other hotel areas* Represent the hotel positively—SMILE*Other Duties** Respond to guest needs and complaints* Greet guests in public areas* Work flexible schedule* Assist with other hotel tasks (e.g., van driving, laundry, housekeeping)* Follow safety, OSHA, HAZCOM, and health regulations* Report lost and found items*Minimum Essentials** Ability to initiate and engage in guest conversation* Attention to detail* Visual inspection and correction of deficiencies* Obtain required local certificationsTeam members are expected to:* Fix what’s broken* Clean what’s dirty* Pick up what’s on the ground* Do it right the first time* Keep the hotel immaculately cleanJob Type: Full-timePay: $15.05 - $17.75 per hourExpected hours: 30 – 40 per weekShift:* Morning shiftWork Location: In person
