Horse Barn Worker

Hunter/Jumper barn in Dexter MI. looking for barn help Thursday, Saturday and Sunday PM, 4 to 7pm shift available, well behaved horses. Great job for college kids, must have reliable transportation. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs for moving hay, grain and shavings to care for horses.Duties include: cleaning stalls (if they are in as a result of bad weather, usually they are out daily and stalls have already been done), Feed and bring in from paddocks ( before dark - winter hours), blanket/unblanket and fill water buckets.Additional hours available upon request, but not required, for other barn tasks such as watering the ring, taking down jumps, dusting, bleaching waterers etc.1099 Contract positionJob Type: ContractPay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hourExpected hours: 10 – 12 per weekBenefits:* Flexible scheduleSchedule:* Evening shiftApplication Question(s):* Please describe your experience working with horses?Work Location: In person
