Child Watch Staff

The Childwatch Team (our child care team) is in charge of creating a safe, positive and fun environment for our Burn kids while their parents workout for 45 minutes. The candidate will focus on building meaningful relationships with the kids, actively engaging with the kids by reading books, doing crafts and playing games. We are looking for enthusiastic, patient and caring individuals who can deliver an exceptional experience to all of our members and their families while also upholding the high standards of Burn Boot Camp. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to manage up to 10 kids at a time, have a creative mindset to contribute to our monthly art projects, be a team player and have a strong problem-solving and communication skills.WHAT BURN BOOT CAMP HAS TO OFFER YOU* Morning shift (815am-1045am)* Discounted membership* Opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our members through fitness and community* Wear gym clothes to work!* Free retail items and discounts on Burn Nutrition* Opportunity for career progression* Cross functional growth opportunities (front desk, marketing, operations)* Leadership growth and training* Opportunity to be a part of a community that will help you reach your personal fitness goals.* Work in a fun, fast paced, exciting environment that a go-getter will thrive in.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with members, their kids and the team while building a strong sense of community at your Burn location.* Work in the childwatch room for camps and provide a safe, welcoming and inviting space for our Burn kids* Plan monthly art crafts alongside the rest of the team* Greet each parent a child by name and a high five* Learn the names of our members and welcome them to the gym* Set team up for success by helping cover shifts as needed* Clean and sanitize the childwatch room and bathrooms at the end of each shift.* Collaborate with team and Franchise Partners to execute any new initiatives at the gymQUALIFICATIONS* Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of members* 18 years of age* Must be a self-motivator* Able to engage with kids ranging from 8 weeks to 12 years old* Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written communication.* Experience working with kids* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized while having high attention to detail and follow through* Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills* Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environmentJob Type: Part-timePay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hourBenefits:* Employee discount* Flexible scheduleSchedule:* Morning shift* Weekends as neededExperience:* Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* First Aid Certification (Preferred)* CPR Certification (Preferred)Work Location: In person
