If you seek a challenge, take pride in keeping things running smoothly, and want to enjoy work that matters, this role is for you.*What You Will Do:*As our Operations Manager, you will keep the train on the tracks and make sure that train runs on time. Your core responsibilities will include:* *HR & Onboarding Support*Coordinate onboarding for new hires—devices, accounts, paperwork, and benefits—and ensure a smooth first-week experience. Track 30/60/90 milestones and support review prep.* *Payroll, AP, and AR Coordination*Run payroll and billing, log/issue checks, and follow up on client collections and trust account replenishments. Ensure everything is accurate and on schedule. Manage issues as they come with attorneys and Firm leadership.* *KPI Tracking and Dashboard Updates*Maintain internal dashboards and tracking systems across AR, productivity, and task completion. Provide updated metrics for meetings and internal reporting. Produce and assist in the production of reports that Leadership can use to help run the Firm.* *Policy & SOP Management*Draft and update standard operating procedures and internal admin policies. Keep documentation current, accessible, and aligned with firm practices.* *Internal Communication and Task Follow-Up*Own internal task lists, reminders, and recurring project check-ins. Keep the wheels turning by following up on deadlines and ensuring loose ends are tied up. Politely, but firmly manage team members to ensure everyone stays focused and on task.* *Office & Facilities Oversight*Be the primary point of contact with our Firm’s vendors, manage office and kitchen supply inventory, and handle facility-related requests. Ensure the office stays stocked, functional, and professional.* *Team & Culture Support*Help run internal events, coordinate team offsites, and track employee milestones and morale efforts. Support the “people” side of operations.* *Other administrative and operational tasks as assigned*You’ll pitch in wherever needed to keep things moving and free up leadership to focus on higher-level initiatives.*What Success Looks Like in This Role:*You’ll know you’re winning in this role when the following benchmarks are consistently met:· 100% Financial & Payroll Accuracy· 90%+ client collection rate maintained on a rolling 30-day basis; internal AR benchmarks met or exceeded.· 100% of metrics and reports are updated accurately based on the reporting schedule.· 100% of recurring tasks and internal projects tracked and closed within assigned timelines· All firm-wide internal meetings (town halls, trainings) are calendared and supported without delays· Serve as the Firm’s Chief Happiness Officer - At least two (2) employee engagement or team events executed each month.*What We are Looking For:** A great teammate – someone who brings energy, enthusiasm, and is a genuinely nice person.* 3–5 years of experience in office management, HR coordination, or operations (law firm or professional services preferred)* A professional and personal background that demonstrates you are the type of person to embrace challenges, deliver results, and have the integrity and growth mindset that we are looking for in this role.* Strong command of payroll, AP/AR, and expense workflows. A bookkeeping background is a plus, but not required.* Skilled with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Mac OS; experience with Clio, Asana, and QuickBooks is a plus.* Proven ability to write and maintain SOPs, track KPIs, and manage internal systems* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with follow-through* Clear communicator with professional discretion and a service-first mindset* Comfortable juggling tasks, solving problems independently, and keeping others on track without being micromanaged*Commitment:*Full-time salaried employees at Brotman Law traditionally work a nine (9) hour day at an 85% utilization rate based on a forty-eight (48) week year.*Compensation and Benefits: ** Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 annually, plus performance bonuses, depending on experience.* Unlimited vacation time off, paid sick time, and other paid leave* Paid education and training along with other contributions toward professional development* Top-tier health, dental, and vision packages.* Other great benefits and expense reimbursements*Ready to Join Us?*If this role sounds like the right fit, send us your resume and a short cover letter telling us what you bring to the table.
