Full Time, M-F, 8:00AM-5:00PMJOB DESCRIPTION:/*/*/*MUST HAVE SEWING EXPERIENCE/*/*/* Either Upholstery, Boat or Awning work experience needed! (Not clothes- No Seamstress)Industrial sewing machine operator requires excellent skills in fabric knowledge. Able to understand and be involved in making decisions regarding quality. Being multilingual is a strong asset. This person must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Experience in a sewing manufacturing environment, a plus. Able to operate industrial sewing machines and manual sewing equipment. Industrial sewing experience required single and double needle.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Able to operate industrial sewing machines- Capable of working with heavy fabric; able to push/pull up to 30 lbs- Attention to detail and quality- Adheres to safe working practices- Able to do simple math skills- Ability to maintain a clean and well-organized work space- Must be able to work as part of a teamWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles.
