Licensed Landscape Irrigator

The Irrigation Install Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems in various landscape projects. This role requires expertise in irrigation systems, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.*Key Responsibilities:** Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial landscapes.* Lay out and connect piping and water supply lines, ensuring proper irrigation coverage.* Test and inspect irrigation systems to identify and fix leaks, malfunctions, or inefficiencies.* Program and adjust irrigation controllers and timers according to seasonal requirements.* Work with landscape installation crews to integrate irrigation systems with overall landscape design.* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to irrigation systems, including electrical components and water pressure problems.* Ensure all installations meet company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job.* Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members regarding project status and any issues that arise.* Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.*Qualifications:** Holds a TECQ Landscape Irrigation License* High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in irrigation systems is a plus.* Minimum of 2 years of experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance.* Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and installation techniques.* Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans and blueprints.* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.* Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor.*Physical Requirements:** Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.* Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods.* Capability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat and rain.Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 10 hour shift* Every weekend* Overtime* Weekends as neededSupplemental Pay:* Overtime payExperience:* Maintenance: 2 years (Required)* Irrigation: 3 years (Required)* Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)Ability to Commute:* Prosper, TX 75078 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Prosper, TX 75078: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
