CNC Operator/Machinist (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift)

Since 1946, G & V Machine Company, a full-service production CNC machine shop, has crafted various metal parts for our wide diverse customer base that includes agriculture, construction, offroad highway trucking, forestry, mining, and other industries around the world.2nd shift premium: 15%3rd shift premium: 25%Bonuses*BASIC DUTIES:*To perform all duties of a Machinist and perform other tasks as assigned or requested.*POSITION DUTIES:*1. Run equipment and all associated operations with maximum workstation efficiency, which includes making quality parts with minimal scrap, achieving posted rates, and recording minimum indirect labor hours.2. Inspect parts manufactured by using required gages, or gages provided, to requirements which include, but are not limited to, routing requirements, drawing dimensions, quality plan dimensions and SPC chart tracking.3. Perform posted maintenance on equipment as required.4. Maintain paperwork and documentation and verify correctness, while reporting errors to supervisor.5. Understand and follow general shop practices as defined in the employee handbook.6. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.*Operator C:*1.Load/unload, deburr, and check parts*Operator B:*1.
