*Overview*We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Front of House Manager to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role is pivotal in supporting the Front of House Manager and ensuring smooth operations within our restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a passion for hospitality and customer service.*Duties** Assist in managing daily front of house operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.* Oversee staff training and development to enhance team performance and service quality.* Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.* Handle cash management, including processing transactions accurately using POS systems.* Supervise staff during shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.* Collaborate with the kitchen management team to coordinate food production and ensure timely service.* Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.* Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the front of house operations.* Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.* Engage with customers to enhance their dining experience, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.*Requirements** Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.* Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and production processes.* Proficiency in cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS).* Demonstrated ability in staff training, development, and shift management.* Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.* Experience in restaurant or food service management, including supervising staff and managing kitchen operations.* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.* Familiarity with budgeting processes within the food industry is advantageous.* Culinary experience or formal training is preferred but not required.* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
