The Marina at Highland Lake is looking for a Dock Manager/Marina Yard Hand to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, hard-working professional who has excellent customer service skills, can multi-task and perform physical tasks.*/*/*This is an 9 month position. Summer month hours are Sundays, Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 until close. Spring and Fall hours are Monday through Friday 9-5:30.**Dock Manager Responsibilities (Summer Months)** *Requires Weekends and Holidays** Must have a neat, clean, professional appearance with a positive attitude* Main duty is taking care of our customers.* Manage the boat rental check-in/check-out process and boat reservations* Assist staff with cleaning rental boats and fueling* Train and supervise dock attendants, including schedules, and daily tasks* Cleaning and maintenance of rental fleet* Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of docks and facilities* Transporting boats on trailers* Manage and close the retail store*Marina Yard Hand Responsibilities (Spring, Fall)** Weekday hours* Boat Detailing* Driving trailers* Dock and boat lift build and installation* Bottom washing boats*Skills and Knowledge** Excellent customer service* Driving tractors* Driving boat trailers* Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task* Computer skills/payment processing* Physically demanding position* Boating experience and/or knowledge required* Driver’s license requiredJob Types: Full-time, SeasonalPay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 35 – 40 per weekApplication Question(s):* Do you have any experience or knowledge of boating?
