Job Description

*Job Summary*We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as an Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness within our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, materials handling, and laboratory practices. You will work closely with various departments to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards._ *Job Requirements*_/* Perform chemical tests (routine and non-routine) of raw materials, samples in process and finished products as established in the USP / NF Current and the corresponding STMs./* Carry out chemical and physical tests for the qualification of vendors.- chemical and spectrometric identification tests.- organoleptic evaluations- titration (acid-base, redox, precipitation, complexometric)- non-aqueous titrations (potentiometric and direct)- determination of:· pH· Conductivity· Humidity· Bulk density· Tap density· Ignition residue· Total ashes· Fat· Density (specific gravity)· Viscosity· Water activity· Refractive index· Specific rotation· Particle size (powders)/* Handle and store chemical solutions and reagents in compliance with established procedures and Safety Data Sheets for each particular product./* Guarantee the proper operation, maintenance, and calibration of the equipment necessary for chemical tests./* Handle laboratory equipment safely and effectively for chemical testing./* Locate, collect, and store the samples required for chemical tests./* Keep up-to-date records and documents for chemical testing methods and activities./* Record, analyze, and report test results to managers./* Maintain inventory of chemicals and laboratory supplies./* Locate and obtain the necessary information from the bath records of each product, at the time it is required, for the corresponding chemical analyses./* Develop and validate new analytical methods./* Deposit the chemical waste (organic and inorganic) generated in the laboratory in the established area of ​​chemical waste./* Ensure the cleanliness of laboratory glassware and equipment before, during and at the end of the corresponding analyses, as well as the general environment of the laboratory./* Exchange ideas, experiences and show an attitude of cooperation and collaboration with the rest of the chemical analysts and quality control technician of the laboratory./* Maintain continuous education, training in new procedures, analytical methods as well as in the operation of new laboratory equipment./* Establish adequate communication, based on work needs, with the rest of the areas of the company.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $17.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Vision insurancePeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
