Good Graces is Raleigh’s newest eatery, bar, and market located in the heart of the newly developed North Hills Innovation District. Casually sophisticated and thoughtfully designed, Good Graces will be a multi-functional destination for our community to eat, drink, gather, and shop.We are seeking an individual who is positive, self-motivated, and has a passion for quality food, beverage, and service. This candidate must be able to foster teamwork and the ability to skillfully navigate a variety of personalities. We are looking to hire someone who holds themselves to a high standard of excellence and finds fulfillment and motivation in people management and the customer experience.Line Cooks will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for food preparation and presentation.*Key Responsibilities*Food Preparation:* Prepare ingredients and menu items according to recipes and specifications.* Ensure that all food is prepared safely and to the highest quality standards.Cooking:* Cook menu items across various stations, such as grill, sauté, and fry.* Monitor and maintain cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked properly.Sanitation and Cleanliness:* Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following food safety regulations and sanitation protocols.* Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas regularly.Inventory Management:* Assist with inventory management by reporting low stock levels and helping with inventory counts.* Properly store and label food items to reduce waste.Collaboration and Communication:* Work closely with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.* Communicate effectively with the kitchen manager regarding inventory needs and any kitchen issuesFlexibility:* Be adaptable to changes in menu items or special requests from customers.* Assist with special events or catering as needed.*Qualifications** Kitchen experience, with at least 1 year on the line* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.* Strong teamwork and communication skills.* Passion for cooking and a willingness to learn.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $18.00 per hourBenefits:* Paid time offWork Location: In person
