Set-Up Technician

General Pattern Co. is seeking to fill a Set Up Technician role with candidates who enjoy a fast-paced manufacturing environment.2nd shift, Monday – Thursday, 5:45 pm – 6:00 amStarting wages range from $23 - $25 per hour, depending on experience.*Job duties include but are not limited to:** Responsible for molding machine setup, including ancillary equipment related to the molding process.* Set up and maintain production of injection molding machines, tooling, and processes.* Locate, transport, install, and store injection molds following established guidelines.* Inspect, clean, and maintain molds and tooling after each production run.* Follow directions and customer specifications in the job folder.* Assist in setting up machine operating parameters to process to specifications for Sample and Production Molds.* Locate and identify proper molds ordered for production.* Check part numbers and verify samples or prints to ensure that a correct part is produced.* Properly install aluminum molds into injection molding presses.* Secure molds to platen and assemble heater cartridges and leads.* Perform minor machine maintenance as required.* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while emphasizing quality and efficiency.* Plan ahead for upcoming set-ups by locating and preparing molds for runs.
