*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment while promoting a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons.*Duties** Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests.* Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.* Perform rescues and administer first aid or CPR as necessary in emergency situations.* Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, including cleanliness and equipment functionality.* Assist with pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and chemical balancing.* Provide excellent guest services by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly.* Participate in regular training sessions to maintain certifications and enhance skills.*Requirements** Current Lifeguard Certification (CPR and First Aid certification required).* Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues effectively.* Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests of all ages.* Ability to lift heavy equipment as needed for pool maintenance tasks.* Previous experience in guest services or lifeguarding is preferred but not mandatory.* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.Join our team as a Lifeguard and contribute to creating a safe, enjoyable experience for all our guests!Job Type: SeasonalPay: $15.00 per hourExpected hours: 15 – 35 per weekSchedule:* 4 hour shift* 8 hour shift* Holidays* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededAbility to Commute:* Dixon, IL 61021 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Dixon, IL 61021: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
