*Company Overview*Champion Logistics Group, established in 1980, is a full-service logistics provider specializing in domestic transportation, warehouse fulfillment, and international freight forwarding. Our dedicated team manages shipments for trade shows, live events, and retail display rollouts, utilizing cutting-edge technology to ensure efficiency and reliability.*Summary*The Account Coordination Manager (ACM) is responsible for maximizing existing and new Client account revenue growth by delivering a world-class experience to customers and partners by providing the absolute best service targeting truckload, hot-shot, on-demand, and dedicated quotes and freight opportunities. ACM’s will build *strong trusting relationships with our Clients through our exceptional service offerings and coordination* while acting as a single point of contact for our Client. The ACM must demonstrate the ability to quickly and consistently organize, prioritize, and execute in a high-energy high-demand environment on behalf of the Clients who have entrusted us with serving them.*Job Duties and Responsibilities** Stellar internal and external customer service and collaboration.* Maintain a Client Response Time of 10 minutes or less.* Continually source vendors, building a robust rolodex of suitable and cost-effective transportation options across all US markets/lanes. Seek to improve new and existing vendor relationships in order to strengthen trust, service, capacity, and pricing between organizations.* Conduct expert negotiations between Clients and carriers based on requested service level and market cost-comparisons to secure better rates and logistic solutions for our customers. Drive efforts to eliminate non-value-added activities within department, increase quality and service, and reduce costs.* Handle the entire lifecycle of an order (“cradle-to-grave”) to include quoting, order coordination, and Client invoicing.* Support and ensure the highest level of real-time data accuracy within our operating system(s).* Maintain the use of vetted and approved business process and SOP’s during p/u, booking, costing, tracing, delivery, pod retrieval, and general paperwork processing.* Provide outstanding customer support by monitoring loads in transit as well as providing consistent, reliable communication with our carriers and customers.* Self-initiate and negotiate cost reductions with vendors to resolve any discrepancies with invoices, service failures, or quality issues.* Participate in the Departments mandatory on-call rotations.* Maintain exemplary professionalism and tact when dealing with internal and external Customers.* Practice Champion’s Core Values, rules and policies as dictated by the employee handbook.* Additional duties and any other function necessary to meet company goals.*Required Qualifications, Education and Experience** High school diploma or equivalent.* Experience in Account management, Dispatcher, Logistics Coordinator, etc. preferred.* Excellent negotiation and organizational skills and attention to detail.* Able to exercise progressive decision making, multi-task, and prioritize workload with limited supervision or guidance* Proficiency with managing the full sales cycle, from order to payment.* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite* Strong teamwork, self-confidence, and partnering skills* Ability to work, and exceed, in a time sensitive environment‍* Solid commitment to ethical practices and holding others to the same standard.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $45,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Health savings account* Paid time offSchedule:* 8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:* Bonus opportunitiesExperience:* Transportation management: 2 years (Required)Ability to Commute:* Northlake, IL 60164 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Northlake, IL 60164: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
