*Job Summary:*_The Sauce_ is seeking a skilled and passionate *Bartender* to join our team! As a bartender in our elevated casual dining restaurant, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails, curating a memorable bar experience, and providing exceptional service to our guests. A strong knowledge of craft cocktails, wine, and classic drink preparation is essential. If you take pride in mixology, hospitality, and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere, we’d love to hear from you!We are located right across the from our sister restaurant _*The Taco Stache.*_*Responsibilities:** Craft and serve high-quality cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages with precision and consistency* Engage with guests to provide a personalized and welcoming bar experience* Maintain extensive knowledge of our cocktail, wine, and spirits menu, offering recommendations based on guests’ preferences* Ensure proper pouring, mixing, and presentation of beverages to align with restaurant standards* Accurately take orders and process transactions through the POS system* Uphold responsible alcohol service practices and follow all local liquor laws and regulations* Keep the bar stocked, clean, and organized, including prepping garnishes and batching ingredients as needed* Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow* Assist in creating seasonal cocktail specials and contributing to the overall bar program* Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment*Qualifications:** Minimum *1-2 years of bartending experience* in an upscale or craft cocktail setting preferred* Strong knowledge of *classic cocktails, craft mixology, and wine pairings** Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail* Excellent customer service and communication skills* Must be at least *21 years old* and possess or be willing to obtain proper alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol)* Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed*Why Join Our Team?** Competitive hourly wage + *high earning potential with tips** Work in a dynamic, upscale-casual environment with a *strong bar program** Opportunities for creativity in cocktail development* Employee discounts on food and drinks* Growth opportunities within the restaurantIf you have a passion for mixology and hospitality, come be part of _The Sauce_ family!
