*Asphalt Plant Operator *Thalle Industries is currently looking to add a highly skilled Asphalt Plant Operator to join our expanding team.*Job Description Summary*:The primary responsibility of the position is to operate the asphalt plant safely and efficiently.Role & Responsibilities:* Responsible for start-up and operation of hot mix asphalt mixing plants.* Seeking a self-starter who is dependable, reliable, demonstrates initiative, and can work without close supervision.* The ideal candidate will have a solid working knowledge of asphalt mixes and designs, and proven experience monitoring asphalt operations to ensure a quality mix.* Prefer candidate with 1-3 years’ experience operating a hot mix asphalt plant. (Experience working as a Concrete Plant Operator may be substituted.)* The successful candidate will be a team-player, thrive working in a team environment, and willing to pitch-in and help wherever necessary.* Must have a strong commitment to safety.* Operate plant and load trucks.* Assist to ensure that all safety policies are followed and implemented.* Print Tickets and hand to drivers.* Maintain all required paperwork.* Must be willing to work Nights and Weekends.* Must have a positive attitude and eager to learn new tasks.* Knowledge of Asphalt Operating Systems a plus.
