Manual Machinist

We're a family-owned, fast-paced machine shop specializing in Shaft Repair, Thermal Spray Coatings, and Precision Grinding. We're looking for a skilled manual machinist who can handle tight tolerances and custom work.Responsibilities include:- Setting up and Operating Manual Lathes and Mills- Read and Interpret blueprints and Repair Instructions- Machine Shafts, Sleeves, Housings, and other custom components.-Inspect parts for accuracy using Micrometers, Calipers, and other tooling.-Assist in repair projects and work closely with the shop team.Competitive pay (Experience)Consistent hours (No shift work)Family-style shop culture - your work matters here.Job Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insuranceSchedule:* 10 hour shift* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to Friday* No nights* Overtime* Weekends as neededWork Location: In person
