1st Shift General Laborer

*SUMMARY:*As a general laborer you will be expected to assist in different areas of the facility to support the overall team and production lines. This may include supplying or assembling materials for the production lines. This may also include loading and unloading items as needed. General Laborer’s may also clean up and keep manufacturing areas free of debris.*DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTERISTICS*· Previous experience in a similar role is preferred by not required· Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks· Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*· Perform general labor tasks in a manufacturing environment· Assist with loading and unloading materials· Follow safety protocols and guidelines· Maintain proper housekeeping and area clean up· Effectively works with both departmental and plant-wide team to achieve company goals*PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS*· High school diploma or GED· Ability to manage time and resources effectively· Ability to stay focused and be productive despite interruptions· Work effectively in a team environment*MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*· Ability to stand for long periods of time· Ability to use both hands to handle, feel or reach with hands and arms· Ability to frequently lift or move up to 30lbs and occasionally as much as 75lbs*WORK ENVIRONMENT*· Seasonal climate· Moderate noise levelJob Type: Full-timePay: From $14.50 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 10 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
