Our Kitchen Crew are the first step to ensuring that all our recipes are done to the standard we set out to do!*What you’ll do:** Follow recipes, prep specifications and quality standards on all food production tasks including dressings, sauces, rubs, braising, soups and stocks* Preparing, washing, peeling and/or cutting various food items to be cooked or served* Carrying equipment, food supplies and utensils to and from work and storage areas* Utilizing knives and performing food prep in a safe and efficient manner* Executing cooking techniques including grilling and sautéing* Working in a team environment, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are being adhered to* Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area* Ensure that managers are informed of low inventory and malfunctioning equipment* Wash and sanitize all utensils, cutting boards, bowls and other tools* Assist with food prep if needed*What you need:** Cooking experience* Must have considerable knowledge of cooking methods and food preparation procedures* Ability to lift food trays and boxes up to 50lbs.* Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while also maintaining high operational standards* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment* Must understand and execute food safety and sanitation protocols* Standing, stooping, kneeling, walking, wiping, reaching, bending and lifting may be required* Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends, and/or holidays*What you’ll get:** Competitive wage* Cross training that provides additional skills and additional compensation* Great opportunities for advancement* A fun, healthy and rewarding work environmentJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 10 – 40 per weekBenefits:* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Paid trainingPhysical Setting:* Fast casual restaurant* Quick service & fast food restaurantShift:* 10 hour shift* Day shift* Evening shift* Morning shift* Night shiftWork Location: In person
