Assistant Machine Operator

Full Time, Temp to Hire 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift Assistant Machine Operators needed in Franksville, WI1st- 6am-2pm (OT 4am-2pm)2nd shift 2pm-10pm (OT possible 2pm-12am)3rd shift 10pm-6amPay: $18-$19hr*Responsibilities:** Accurate and efficient set-up of all folding and gluing operations of the machine in accordance with proper setup techniques.* Minimize waste of sheet stock and glue.* Properly operate machine to run efficiently and produce quality products.* Ensure diagonal and corrugator scores are broken when necessary.* Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.* Assist in training all post job positions.* Learn to run a variety of box styles.* Check quality of boxes during the run, including - mis-slotted boxes, loose liner, misprints, and any other defects.* Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data.* Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.* Adheres to production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals. Reports any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor.* Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.* Additional duties may be assigned by management.Qualifications:* High school diploma or GED required. One year minimum relevant experience preferred.* Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.* Experience in Press and Finishing Department - at least six months.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hourSchedule:* Day shift* Evening shift* Night shiftWork Location: In person
