Cashier

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be proficient in cash handling. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.Responsibilities:- Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with precision- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services- Upsell products or services to increase sales revenue- Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandiseExperience:- Previous experience in customer service or retail preferred- Proficiency in cash handling and basic retail math- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse customers- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous- Familiarity with phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries- Experience with Toast POS is a plusThis Cashier position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment, providing valuable customer service experience.
