Job OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and experienced Crew Leader to join our landscaping team in Omaha, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will lead a small crew, operate mowing equipment, and ensure high-quality lawn maintenance for residential and commercial properties. This is a full-time positionResponsibilities* Lead a crew of 2-4 team members, delegating tasks and ensuring timely completion of mowing schedules.* Operate and maintain commercial mowing equipment (e.g., zero-turn mowers, push mowers, trimmers).* Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and cleanup for client properties.* Inspect work for quality and consistency, addressing any client concerns.* Train crew members on safe equipment use and company standards.* Report equipment issues and coordinate with management for repairs.* Maintain a professional demeanor and communicate effectively with clients.Qualifications* 2+ years of experience in lawn care or landscaping, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.* Proficiency in operating commercial mowing equipment.* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).* Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.* Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills.* Knowledge of lawn care techniques and safety protocols.* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.* Local candidates in Omaha, NE, or willingness to relocate.Benefits* Competitive pay: $20-$25/hour, based on experience.* Overtime opportunities during peak season.* Paid time off and holiday pay for full-time employees.* Opportunities for advancement within the company.* Training and certification programs for equipment operation.Work Environment* Full-time, seasonal (March-November), 40-50 hours/week.* Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work during peak season.* Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourSchedule:* 10 hour shift* 12 hour shift* 8 hour shift* Monday to Friday* On callWork Location: In person
