_Retail Artist_*Goofy Faces, LC is seeking responsible and energetic* *face painters and caricature artists to work at Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, D.C.*Only experienced artists will be considered. We are seeking qualified applicants who can work a flexible schedule on weekdays and must be able to work on weekends.*The positions are not hourly salaried jobs. They are for* *independent contract artists* *and provide a commission-based payment structure*. You can earn high commissions, sales goal bonuses, and will be paid on a weekly basis. Artists are also rewarded with performance-based bonuses and receive tips from happy customers. You must be local, fluent in English, drug / alcohol-free, and available to work weekends to be considered for this position.Currently, the part-time positions are from 9:30 am - 4:00 pm. During the summer months, the hours are 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. Typically, the number of workdays increase to full-time for the spring and summer months. The workdays may decrease based on weather, performance and preference.
