This position is perfect for those with a background in caregiving, social work, or related fields, particularly those experienced in memory care and dementia care.*Duties** Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's overall well-being.* Maintain a clean and organized living space by performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dusting, and vacuuming.* Support clients with mobility and transportation needs as required.* Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals.* Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy and promoting independence.* Engage clients in meaningful activities that stimulate cognitive function and social interaction.* Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.*Requirements** Previous experience in caregiving, home care, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred.* Knowledge of resident rights and best practices in caregiving is essential.* Familiarity with memory care techniques and dementia care strategies is highly desirable.* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.* Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.* Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or assisting clients as needed.* Reliable transportation may be required for travel between client homes within the community.Join us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve by providing compassionate care that promotes dignity and independence!Job Type: Part-timePay: $17.50 - $22.00 per hourSchedule:* Day shift* Morning shiftWork Location: In person
