Production Supervisor

*POSITION SUMMARY *Responsible for first-line direction and supervision of production assembly, fabrication, and capacity delegation; involved in the daily operations while driving a positive culture within the manufacturing environment through teamwork, engagement, and respect.*PRIMARY FUNCTIONS ** Assign and supervise the work of production employees to meet all quality requirements and production schedules.* Review schedules and adjust workflow to meet schedule requirements and minimize downtime while ensuring that work assignments are performed to manufacturing and quality procedures.* Enforce company policies, safety rules, and good housekeeping.* Help interview applicants and make recommendations on the hiring of new employees.* Manage direct costs of the shop.* Organize workflow to ensure product is completed in a timely manner to customer expectations.* Adhere to all safety regulations including wearing of proper safety equipment.* Complete all necessary job paperwork and quality control documentation.* Training and mentoring within your department.* Assist in counting of physical inventory.* Other duties as assigned.* Assist in direct labor activities as required*PRIMARY COMPETENCIES** Curious, proactive, critical thinking and ability to anticipate.* Ability to motivate and lead the employees in your area.* Superb communication skills and customer service acumen.* Manage multiple priorities at any given time.* Proficiently skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)* Detail and results oriented*OTHER REQUIREMENTS** Valid driver’s license* Ability to stand for extended periods of time*EDUCATION: *Associate degree in related field Required*EXPERIENCE: *A minimum of 4-6 years' experience within a Supervisory role in a Manufacturing environment or related environment.Previous experience within a job shop environment is a plus.Job Type: Full-timePay: $27.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shiftWork Location: In person
