Job Description*OVERVIEW OF POSITION:*The mission of Coastal Kids Academy is to "NURTURE CHILDREN IN A LOVING ENVIRONMENT TO PRODUCE WORLD CHANGERS." The primary responsibility is to implement the established daily curriculum, care for children, and properly maintain and manage the classroom. This ranges from student development and parent relations to day-to-day classroom management.*POSITION RELATIONSHIPS:*Will report to CKA Director/Admin. and be a part of the CKA staff.*QUALIFICATIONS:*Must be in alignment with Coastal Kids Academy’s vision, values, and DHR Standards/Requirements.Proven leadership capacity, competence, and ability to execute implementation of curriculum and responsibilities.*All CKA instructors must complete the following:** 12 continuing education hours annually* DHR Background Check/DHR C/an Form - Paid for by Coastal Kids Academy* CPR/First Aid Certification* TB Test/Medical Report*CHARACTER REQUIREMENTS:*Great verbal and written communication skills, professional personal presentation, organizing andplanning, attention to detail, initiative, excellence, punctual, reliability, self motivated, teamplayer, people skills, confident, teachable spirit, confidentiality, ability to multi-task.*SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:*Primary working hours/*Full-time *8am-5pm M-F/*Part-time *7am-12pm or 12pm. - 5p.m. M-F (flexibility required)Follow the afternoon classroom schedule/serve snackProperly manage classroom behaviorsProperly communicate with parents as necessaryEnsure students are prepared to go home at end of dayHelp maintain restroom facilities and classroom cleanliness*COMPENSATION*Varies based on experience and credentialsPay Range $13 - $16 per hourPaid Holidays and PTO*AddressCoastal Kids Academy*11101 County Road 64Daphne, ALUSA*Industry*EducationJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* Employee discount* Paid time off* Professional development assistanceSchedule:* 4 hour shift* 8 hour shift* Monday to Friday* No nights* No weekendsExperience:* Preschool Classroom: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:* CPR Certification (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Daphne, AL 36526: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
