*Overview*At Modern Machining we have opportunities on 1st and 2nd shift for part-time skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and a keen eye for detail, responsible for producing precision components according to specifications. This role requires proficiency in set-up and operation of CNC machines, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.*Duties** Operate CNC machines to produce parts from various materials, ensuring adherence to quality standards.* Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.* Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes, including the use of bore gauges and other measuring instruments.* Program CNC machines using CAM programming techniques to optimize production efficiency.* Assemble components as required, ensuring proper fit and function.* Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.* Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production flow.* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality.*Requirements** Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.* Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.* Experience with tooling setups and the operation of various CNC machinery.* Experience with plastics injection molding and electrical discharge machining is a plus.* Knowledge of Mazatrol programming is desirable but not mandatory.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.* Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.If you are passionate about precision machining and looking for an opportunity to grow within a supportive team, we encourage you to apply for the CNC Machinist position.Job Type: Part-timePay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hourExpected hours: 10 – 20 per weekAbility to Commute:* Lebanon, OH 45036 (Required)Work Location: In person
