*JOB TITLE*: Club House Site Coordinator*ROLE*: Site Coordinators work with the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) Director to oversee the day-to-day operation of the 21st CCLC Club House program at North Thurston Public School sites. Site Coordinators work with students and volunteers, guiding homework help, academic and enrichment activities, physical fitness activities and games, leadership training, small-group student meetings, snack, and other activities. Additionally, Site Coordinators work alongside staff to organize & compile site lesson plans, schedules, donations, and volunteer hours, and participate in training with a commitment to learn and follow strategies as defined in the national Youth Program Quality Initiative (YPQI) or other program quality initiatives as directed by OSPI funding.*HOURS*: 35 hours per week during the school year and 35 hours during the 4-6 week summer program. Evening and weekend hours may be required, as well as some out-of-town travel.*COMPENSATION*: Hiring range: $25.41 - $27.41 per hour depending on qualifications, plus competitive benefits package and generous paid leave.*LOCATION*: The Club House program runs at several sites in North Thurston School District. This position serves at one elementary school location: Mountain View Elementary School. Candidates must have reliable transportation to and from the TOGETHER! Headquarters office and all program sites.*COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT*: Per Governor Inslee's Proclamation 21-14.1, proof of COVID-19 vaccination is a contingency of employment at TOGETHER!. Effective October 18th, 2021 all incoming employees will be required to promptly provide proof of their full COVID-19 vaccination status, as with other authorization-to-work documents typically required by law.*ACCOUNTABLE TO*: Club House Program Director*ESSENTIAL DUTIES*:1. Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of a 21st CCLC program at one school-based site. Provide general supervision of students and (pro)actively engage with students during the Program including mealtime, homework, enrichment, recreation, and transitions. Manage staff, volunteers, and students in the program. Provide high-quality supervision and coaching for all project staff and partners.2. Responsible for assuring high-quality program services and support to enrolled children and their families.3. Provide and maintain sufficient levels of communication and guidance to students, staff, program director, school, partners, and families.4. Recruit participants to meet average daily attendance requirements. Supervise the notification and registration of the children selected to participate.5. Participate in Youth Program Quality (YPQ) self-assessments, goal setting, and other YPQ meetings and tasks, or other program quality initiatives as directed by OSPI funding. Ensure student and program evaluation activities are consistently implemented.6. Acquire services and support for participants as needed to achieve project goals and impact.7. Prepare and assist staff in preparing lesson plans for academic and enrichment activities.8. Ensure that site staff and programmatic activities comply with the school district, TOGETHER!, and 21st CCLC rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.9. Under the program director, identify and train volunteers, parent liaisons, and community partners to implement academic, recreation, enrichment activities, and grant guidelines.10. Establish and maintain helpful partnerships with community-based organizations, public agencies, local universities, and city agencies11. Work with the program director to collect data necessary for evaluation and reporting in a timely manner.12. Represent the 21st CCLC site at assigned events, committees, associations, and meetings.13. Provide ongoing family involvement activities, services, and special events under the direction of the program director.14. Demonstrate creative, solution-oriented thinking and problem-solving for all unexpected issues and emergencies that arise with students and staff.15. Maintain professional conduct at all times (arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the program every day, follow procedures for calling in sick, have appropriate boundaries with students etc.).16. Read and comply with policies adopted by TOGETHER!’s Board of Directors.17. Read and comply with TOGETHER! employee handbook.*ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES TO DELEGATE*:1. Compile weekly lesson plans and weekly supply lists from Facilitators and create weekly calendar.2. Purchase food items and supplies needed for program site. Complete credit card statement reports.3. Recruit volunteers and procure donations for program site.4. Track volunteer hours at program site.5. Track donations to program site with proper paperwork.6. Create thank-you cards for volunteers and donations.7. Network with local organizations to partner with Club House and program site.8. Support program director with additional supporting projects.9. Provide mentoring and guidance to facilitators in relation to lesson planning and activity management, volunteers, and community partners.*QUALIFICATIONS*:*Required*1. Bilingual or fluent Spanish-English language skills – written and verbal.2. Have or obtain a current general first aid and CPR certification within 90 days of hire.3. Minimum age 18 or older.4. At least two (2) years of volunteer and/or professional experience working with middle school youth.5. Good organizational, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills.6. Commitment and ability to support and mentor youth in a positive manner.7. Willingness to work with socially, culturally, and economically diverse populations.8. Acknowledgment and understanding of systemic oppression and a commitment to systems change.9. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.10. Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Community Health, Education, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or closely related field.2. Training in child development.3.
