Host (Part-Time/Weekends) up to $14 per hour

*Job Summary*Famous Toastery of Roanoke is a locally owned franchised breakfast, lunch and brunch restaurant open daily from 7am-3pm in Keagy Village. We focus on scratch-made freshly prepared food and extraordinary service.We are looking for qualified Hosts. *Part-Time/Weekend* positions available.The hostess position includes greeting and seating all Guests in a warm and friendly manner, making a Famous first impression. Assists in maintaining the overall Guest flow of the restaurant. As Guests are departing, inquire about their experience, thank them for dining with us, and invite them back. Will perform side duties including, but not limited to, answering the phone, taking “To Go” orders, general cleaning, expediting orders, and checking out Guests. Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.*Responsibilities and Duties** Greets, engages, and seats the Guest in a timely and controlled manner* Accommodates any special needs, (i.e. boosters, highchairs, disabilities, large parties, ).* Opens doors for arriving and departing Guests.* Manages the Waitlist as needed, quoting accurate wait times* Maintains clean and organized work and entry areas (including windows, ledges, door handles and floors).* Understands and accurately uses the P.O.S. (point of sale) system to clock-in/out, to process/input "To Go" orders and Guest checks, and complete end of shift duties.*Qualifications and Skills**Education:* High School graduate or equivalent preferred.*Experience:* Previous Host/Hostess experience preferred but not required.*Skills/Competencies/Certifications:** Reading, writing, basic math and superior communication skills* Communicates with Guests demonstrating confidence, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphereHours per week:* 10-19Work Remotely* NoJob Type: Part-timePay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Flexible scheduleExperience:* Host/Hostess: 1 year (Required)Language:* English (Required)Work Location: In person
