Site Supervisor - Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance

N2GRASS Landscaping Inc. is seeking a candidate for Supervisor to our team. You will be expected to uphold the standards outlined in the N2GRASS Landscaping Inc. Employee Handbook, pass a drug test, posses a valid driving license, read blue prints, have horticulture experience, and run a team efficiently and safely.*Overview:* As a crew leader of N2GRASS Landscaping Inc. you are a representative of our company. In this respect you should have the ability to lead by example in the areas of punctuality, attitude, work ethic and appearance. Communicating with our crew and customers effectively is a priority in this position. To be an efficient time manager is a must.*Industrial/Commercial experience is required.**Job Requirements: Experience*To be considered for a supervisor, it is required that you have a minimum of two years experience in the landscape and lawn maintenance. A fundamental knowledge of, and the ability to operate, all equipment used in the landscape / lawn maintenance processes is mandatory. Commercial and industrial equipment knowledge is a benefit in this position You may be requested to train and mentor other crew members in the use of the equipment and procedures.*Job Requirements: *Requirements as a supervisor, but are not limited to the following:The ability to manage an account, and if need be, meet with the customer to address contractual obligations such as plant replacement, turf problems or other general concerns the customer may have.The ability to communicate with the customer in a professional and knowledgeable manner regarding questions and/or concerns related to their specific account.The ability to lead your crew to do an efficient job in a timely manner through organization and prior planning.The ability and experience to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems in the field. For example, fix minor breakdowns or change flat tires.A thorough knowledge of the basic plant material that is relevant to the southeast region.The ability to track jobs and fill out job reports.The responsibility to enforce the policies and procedures as defined by N2GRASS Landscaping Inc.*Work Hours and weekly Schedule:*Normal work hours are Monday through Friday beginning at 7:00a.m. and ending when the particular jobs are completed for those particular days. Average ending time is 4:00p.m. and/or 5:00p.m. (Includes a one-hour lunch break). Longer or shorter days may be needed depending on the weather and the current work load.
